Beginning July 1, 2013, the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA) will increase fees for CMA exam candidates. Both the CMA certification entrance fee and exam registration fee will be affected. Due to this increase, Gleim encourages you to register for your CMA exam on or before June 30, 2013. The current exam fee of $350 per part for professional members ($175 per part for student and academic members) will increase to $380 per part for professional members ($190 per part for student and academic members). The CMA certification entrance fee, which is currently $225, will increase to $240 on July 1. However, the CMA entrance fee will remain at $75 for both student and academic members.
The ICMA cites increasing program administration costs as the cause for the higher fees. CMA candidates should register now (before July 1) to save money before the higher fees are enacted.
